Sigma's workhorse dreadnought gets a new ornate look. This is everything you know and love about Sigma guitars in a fantastically suave outfit. The DA-SG7 features high-end tonewoods, quality Fishman electronics and is kitted out in the best ultra-thin UV finish, allowing your guitar to age naturally as you play.

Quality Construction

A solid Sitka spruce top combines with sleek flamed maple back and sides for a bright, dazzling character. Everything is coated with a decadent sunburst finish; an eye-catching dove design adds a final visual embellishment. The low profile neck pattern is a standard right across the Sigma range for good reason, giving you a comfortable modern shape to move about the micarta wood fretboard. It’s a seriously well-rounded guitar package.

Electronics

The DA-SG7 comes equipped with Fishman electronics, known for high-end acoustic reproduction when hooked up to an amp or PA system. You've also got a handy built-in tuner to make this the complete package.

Stuff About Acoustic Guitars

Acoustic guitars produce their sound naturally through the vibration of the strings and body, offering a direct and expressive playing experience. They come in a wide range of styles, including steel string and classical designs, each with its own feel and tonal character. Body shape, wood choice, and construction all influence warmth, projection, and balance, making acoustics suitable for everything from gentle fingerstyle to confident strumming. Whether used for songwriting, practice, or performance, acoustic guitars provide a simple, honest connection between the player and the music.

Stuff About Electro-Acoustic Guitars

Electro-acoustic guitars combine the natural sound and feel of an acoustic guitar with built-in electronics for amplification. Fitted with pickups and preamp controls, they allow you to plug directly into an amp, PA system, or recording setup while retaining an acoustic character. They’re ideal for live performance, rehearsal, and home recording, offering volume control and tonal adjustment without relying solely on microphones. Electro-acoustic guitars suit players who want the warmth and responsiveness of an acoustic instrument with the flexibility to play amplified when needed.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.
