Following in the footsteps of their incredible Marcus Miller bass collaboration, Sire have teamed up with iconic fusion guitarist Larry Carlton to create their own line supreme acoustic guitars. The A4 is a breath of fresh air into the bloated mid-price acoustic market, boasting high class features you simply won't find among competitors.

Construction

The A4 is made using classic woods with a touch of Larry Carlton magic. The body consists of a solid mahogany back and sides and a roasted solid spruce top, resulting in great warmth and all-encompassing sound projection. Roasting, otherwise known as baking, is a favoured Sire design method ensuring longevity and strong sound dispersion throughout the body as you play.

Sire always produce on the playability front. The luxurious “C” shape neck feels effortless to play matched with the flat 16” radius rosewood fretboard and those glorious rolled edges. The A4 is also a stylistically modern acoustic, adorned with herringbone binding and bar inlays.

Dreadnought size

Dreadnought guitars posses loud acoustic properties and deliver in a full low-to-mid frequency range. They're perfect in larger band settings, but also pleasantly fill out a room when played solo. A great and popular all-rounder.

Electronics

Plug the A4 acoustic into a mixer/PA system when you need to tap into higher volume levels. Thanks to the onboard SIB Acoustic EQ System, you're able to blend the inbuilt piezo under saddle pickup and condenser microphone together to recreate accurate acoustic tones.

They come in a wide range of styles, including steel string and classical designs, each with its own feel and tonal character. Body shape, wood choice, and construction all influence warmth, projection, and balance, making acoustics suitable for everything from gentle fingerstyle to confident strumming. Whether used for songwriting, practice, or performance, acoustic guitars provide a simple, honest connection between the player and the music.

Stuff About Electro-Acoustic Guitars

Electro-acoustic guitars combine the natural sound and feel of an acoustic guitar with built-in electronics for amplification. Fitted with pickups and preamp controls, they allow you to plug directly into an amp, PA system, or recording setup while retaining an acoustic character. They’re ideal for live performance, rehearsal, and home recording, offering volume control and tonal adjustment without relying solely on microphones. Electro-acoustic guitars suit players who want the warmth and responsiveness of an acoustic instrument with the flexibility to play amplified when needed.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

The Important stuff

Dreadnought. Natural — Natural guitars showcase the beauty of the wood itself, with finishes that highlight the grain, colour, and character of each piece. Favoured by players who appreciate simplicity and authenticity, natural finishes let the instrument’s craftsmanship and tonewoods speak for themselves. Whether it’s the warm glow of mahogany or the bright shimmer of maple, a natural guitar has a timeless, organic look that never goes out of style. These instruments often feel more connected to their acoustic roots, offering both visual elegance and a sense of purity that appeals to musicians across all genres..
