The T7TM is Sire’s response to the highly acclaimed semi-hollow T-style electric guitar design. Famed for its resonant, balanced and musical tone, the Sire T7TM has an addictive acoustic-like tone that is perfectly enhanced with its pair of vintage-voiced P90 soapbar pickups. Its locking tuners and 9.5” fingerboard radius are welcome additions to this otherwise classic design. Featuring a Mahogany body with Swamp Ash top and available in a number of eye-catching colours this guitar will be the centre of any performance.

Sire Pickguard

Please note, this guitar ships with two pickguards to swap between, depending on your preference:

  • Aluminium: stylish metal appearance that offers low noise and a midrange-focused response
  • PVC: Standard single-coil noise with a brighter treble response

Key Features

  • Comfort and elegance – Sire’s Edgeless™ fretboard design features rolled, smoothened edges for a superior feel and playing experience.
  • Twin P90 pickups – Soapbar pickups situated at the neck and bridge produce warm, rich and full-bodied tones.
  • Premium locking tuners – The inclusion of Sire’s premium locking tuners as standard means that this guitar is easy to restring and will stay in tune for longer.

Powered by soapbar pickups

The Sire Larry Carlton T7TM comes loaded with two P90 soapbar pickups designed to ensure that every sound element is picked up, producing warm, rich and full-bodied tones. You get a balanced output between the neck and bridge positions, allowing for expressive and dynamic playing styles.

Created to resonate

The chambered, ‘Thinline’ body of the Larry Carlton T7TM features a single F Hole, which brings a fuller resonance to the wonderful sound characteristics of a T-style guitar. This, along with the hardware configuration, brings a wider tonal range and a more defined sound to the instrument.

Designed for comfort

Sire Larry Carlton T7TM electric guitars feature a traditional T-style body made from Mahogany with a solid Swamp Ash top. Its C-shaped, hard Maple neck features a Rosewood fingerboard with Sire’s Edgeless™ fretboard design with rolled edges that feel comfortable to hold and enhance your hand’s ability to slide up and down the neck.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.

The Important stuff

Left-Handed Guitar — Left-handed guitars are built specifically for left-handed players, with the body shape, controls, and string orientation reversed to provide a natural and comfortable playing experience. Available across electric, acoustic, classical, and bass styles, they offer the same variety of tones, features, and build quality as right-handed models. Using a properly designed left-handed guitar helps with balance, technique, and confidence, allowing players to focus on developing their sound without having to adapt to an instrument that doesn’t suit the way they play..
