Sire has introduced two brand-new additions to its T range, both of which feature a T-style body variant with an added F hole for enhanced resonance. But whereas the Larry Carlton TVTM goes modern with its hardware, the T7TV adopts a more traditional approach with two single-coil, Larry Carlton-approved pickups designed to produce that distinct T-sound, and an ashtray-style bridge for that authentic look and feel.

Sire Pickguard

Please note, this guitar ships with two pickguards to swap between, depending on your preference:

  • Aluminium: stylish metal appearance that offers low noise and a midrange-focused response
  • PVC: Standard single-coil noise with a brighter treble response

Larry Carlton-approved T-style, single-coil pickups

The Sire Larry Carlton T7VT adopts a traditional approach to its pickup array with two single-coil, Super-T pickups at the neck and bridge. These produce a bright, rich, country twang, or a mellow, bluesy jazz tone depending on which pickup you channel. It’s a versatile guitar that can excel in any given genre.

A varied tapestry of tones

The chambered, ‘Thinline’ body of the Larry Carlton T7TV features a single F hole, which brings a fuller resonance to the wonderful sound characteristics of a T-style guitar. This, along with the hardware configuration, helps to bring a wider range and a more defined sound to the instrument.

Designed for comfort

Sire Larry Carlton T7TV electric guitars feature a traditional T-style body made from North American Alder, topped with a solid Swamp Ash. This is bolted to a C-shaped, hard Maple neck featuring Sire’s Edgeless™ fretboard design, with rolled smoothened edges that feel comfortable to hold and feel effortless to glide along.
