About the manufacturer

Sonicake

Sonicake is represented by a broad selection of compact effects and pedalboard products, including the Cloud Chorus, Matribox multi-processor, Sonic Ambience delay/reverb, power adapters, patch cables and footswitch toppers. That mixture makes the individual product more important than the brand name alone. Compare whether the item is an effect, utility or accessory, then check power, connections, switching, expression or MIDI support and the intended guitar, bass or acoustic use. The listing provides the exact specification for each model.

Wireless Systems

Wireless systems replace an instrument cable with a transmitter and receiver, giving the player more freedom of movement. Compare frequency band, range, latency, battery life, charging, connector format and the number of transmitters or receivers included. Check local operating requirements and confirm that the system works with the instrument output, pedalboard, amplifier or mixer in the intended setup.

Acoustic

Voiced for the wider dynamics, strong transient detail and pickup characteristics of acoustic instruments. High input impedance, phase reversal, notch filtering and restrained processing help preserve body resonance while controlling piezo harshness and feedback. Balanced outputs may also carry the corrected signal directly to a mixer or interface.

IR Loader

Convolves the signal with an impulse response, a captured measurement of a cabinet, speaker, microphone, room or other linear system. File length, sample rate, latency, storage and routing determine the detail of the captured response and how flexibly it can be combined.
