Loaded with two alnico humbuckers a 5-way pickup selector and a 3-band active preamp its designed to cover everything from thunderous low-end grooves to bright cutting slap tones. The roasted maple neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard feels smooth in the hands and offers rock-solid tuning stability making it just as reliable for long studio sessions as it is for live gigs. With 22 medium frets and a comfortable 34″ scale it plays fast and fluid while keeping the classic StingRay feel. This version of the StingRay stands out visually with a striking spalted maple veneer top finished in Blood Orange Burst adding a touch of boutique style to the iconic design. The transparent pickguard keeps the look clean while showcasing the wood grain and the open-gear tuners nod to classic bass aesthetics.
