Description

Outfitted with a solid spruce top, layered walnut back and sides, and a comfortable neck profile, the 110ce offers big, bold sound for players of all styles and skill levels. This classic Dreadnought acoustic-electric delivers a rich sonic punch with enough projection for both practice and performance situations. With a Venetian cutaway for easy access to the fretboard’s upper register and built-in ES2 electronics, players can look forward to an easy-playing, accommodating experience that’s up to the task in virtually any musical application—without breaking the bank or being too precious to take on the road.

Key Features

  • Dreadnought – Taylor’s Dreadnought captures the potent tone flatpickers and strummers love.
  • Layered Walnut Back/Sides – Sapele is an excellent tonewood choice in guitar building; it has a beautifully balanced tone with a sweet top end, perfect for a large variety of different playing styles.
  • Torrefied Spruce: Spruce is favoured on acoustic guitar soundboards for its unparalleled clarity and projection. The torrefying (roasting) process, in essence, seasons the wood to vintage perfection.

ES2

Designed with the purpose of capturing as much of the expressive and dynamic properties of an acoustic guitar as possible the Taylor ES2 system is regarded as one of the best acoustic pickup systems on the market. Reimagining the typical Piezo transducers typically found on an acoustic pickup and positioning them behind the saddle rather than underneath led to a guitar pickup that not only sounds fuller and more dynamic but also more natural and musical.

Acoustic

Dreadnought

A dreadnought is a large-bodied acoustic guitar known for its powerful projection and strong low-end response. It delivers a full, bold sound with plenty of volume, making it well suited to strumming, flatpicking, and playing in band settings where clarity and punch are important.

Electro-Acoustic

Electro-acoustic guitars are acoustic instruments fitted with built-in pickups or microphones that allow them to be amplified or connected directly to a PA system or amplifier. They retain the natural acoustic tone and feel of a traditional acoustic guitar while adding the convenience of onboard electronics.

They are commonly used for live performance and recording, especially in situations where consistent volume and clarity are needed. Electro-acoustic guitars often include controls for volume and tone, and sometimes built-in tuners, making them a practical choice for gigging musicians who want an acoustic sound with modern flexibility.

Left-Handed

Left Handed guitars are specifically designed for players who favour their left hand as the fretting hand, offering a comfortable and natural playing experience without compromise. With reversed body shapes, control layouts, and string orientation, these guitars ensure proper balance, playability, and access to all features exactly as intended.

From classic electric designs to acoustic models, left handed guitars are available across a wide range of styles, tones, and price points. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to upgrade, choosing a purpose-built left handed instrument allows you to focus on playing and expression, rather than adapting to a setup that doesn’t suit you.
