The ThorpyFX Fallout Cloud captures old school fuzz to a tee. Recreate classic 70's and 80's tones or carve your own sound with a sensitive scope of control. The pedal has been redesigned to reduce its footprint and fit neatly onto a Pedaltrain board.

2-band Active EQ

The secret behind the versatility in this pedal comes from its 2-band active EQ circuit. This allows you to dial in the sound silky smooth fuzz that would fit great into classic rock and blues to a modern doom laden style heavy enough to punch a hole through a few speakers. With separate high and low controls you really can take your tone anywhere with this.

Works With Everything

The biggest problem with old Muff style pedals is just how picky they are. While one day it will love your rig the next day it will just squeeze the life out of your tone for what seems like no reason. Thorpy couldn't stand the idea of an unreliable pedal so with the Fallout cloud he made it that no matter your guitar, pedals or amp you would still be able to get pro grade fuzz tones every night.

Premium components

ThorpyFX pedals are built to last. The unique recessed look protects the dials from breakage and the dangers of touring. Its metal casing ensures the delicate circuit is well housed.

Only the very best electronics have gone into building ThorpyFX pedals. 1% metalfilm resistors, Wima and Panasonic capacitors, Neutrik jacks and a Burr-Brown Opamp deliver a crisp effect.

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Fuzz — Fuzz is one of the earliest and most distinctive guitar effects, known for its thick, gritty, and saturated tone that completely transforms your sound. It works by heavily clipping the audio signal, producing a raw, almost broken distortion that defined the sound of the ’60s and ’70s rock era. Classic pedals like the Fuzz Face and Big Muff became legendary for their roaring sustain and rich harmonic texture. Modern fuzz pedals range from vintage-style warmth to wild, synth-like chaos, making them perfect for players who want to add character, attitude, and a touch of chaos to their tone.. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own..
