Description

Built from the ground up to complement the natural body dynamics and warmth of acoustic instruments, the Align Reverb's circuitry intuitively combines the dry and wet signal to strike the perfect, warm and characterful tonal balance that you're after. The voicing was carefully shaped with analog EQ to ensure an organic, natural tone that perfectly matches acoustic instruments. As well as this, you've got a tone control that can be used to deliver tame, dark ambience through to breathy, open echo and everything in between!

Key Features:

  • Reverb control blends reverb signal with unaffected signal
  • Decay adjusts the length of the reverb tail
  • Tone sweeps a wide range of warmth, clarity, and everywhere in between

Here's what LR Baggs have to say about the Align Reverb:

The Align Reverb was built from the ground up to complement the natural body dynamics and warmth of acoustic instruments that we love so much. The circuit seamlessly integrates the wet and dry signals with the effect in side chain so that it never overwhelms the original signal. We shaped the reverb with analog EQ to reflect the natural voice inherent in acoustic instruments. Additionally, the tone control adds versatility by sweeping from warm and muted to open and present. The result is an organic reverb that maintains the audiophile purity of the original signal with the controls set in any position.

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

Reverb

Reverb (short for reverberation) is an audio effect that simulates the natural reflections of sound in a physical space. When you play in a room, hall, or cathedral, the sound waves bounce off the walls, ceiling, and floor, creating a sense of depth and ambience. Reverb pedals and processors recreate this effect electronically, allowing guitarists and producers to shape how “big” or “live” their sound feels. From short, springy echoes that mimic vintage amp tanks to lush, atmospheric washes used in ambient or shoegaze music, reverb adds dimension and realism — turning a dry, flat tone into something immersive and expressive.
