Victory Amplification is excited to update The Sheriff 25 family to include a wooden sleeved version to the compact family. The Sheriff 25 has two channels of all-valve classic British rock tones, from the 60’s-style classic rock and blues through to the hot-rodded, 70’s and 80’s heavy rock sounds.

The Sheriff 25 is a compact, yet versatile head, with two channels of British rock sounds all in a small footprint. The vintage channel is designed for lower gain 60’s style of British blues and rock, whereas the hot rod channel is where the heavy high gain sounds are. Both channels have independently switchable master controls, so the Sheriff 25 is made for the studio, the home and of course the stage!

Key Features

  • Two Channels – The Vintage channel is lower gain 60’s British blues and rock sound and suits dynamic playing. The Hot Rod channel is for 70’s and 80’s heavier sounds and has a lot of gain!
  • Master Volume Design – There are two master volume controls, one for each channel and these are footswitchable. The master volume assign switch can switch the volume controls to be set globally across channels or to their originally vintage/hot rod channel.
  • Bass Focus Switch – This is much more than a bass EQ. It works in the power section of the amp, offering either a tighter, more focussed bottom end, or conversely more loose and resonant depending on your needs and tastes.
  • Simple Powerful EQ – Plenty of tone-sculpting potential, plus a presence control that works in the power section to set the overall bite just how you like it.
  • Series Effects Loop – A series effects loop is available for effects fans. It’s completely out of the circuit when bypassed.

Specifications

  • Valves: 3 x ECC83, 2 x EL86
  • Size: 208(H) x 390(W) x 215(D)mm
  • Weight: 14kg (30.8lbs)
  • Footswitches (Vintage/Hot Rod, Master Volume/ Channel)

Stuff About Amp Heads

An amp head contains the core tone and power of a guitar amplifier without the built-in speakers, allowing you to pair it with the cabinet of your choice. This setup offers greater flexibility over sound and volume, as different speaker cabinets can dramatically change the feel and character of the amp. Amp heads are available in valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, ranging from low-wattage studio models to high-powered touring rigs. They’re ideal for players who want a modular setup, precise control over their tone, and the ability to adapt their rig to different venues, cabinets, or recording situations.

Stuff About Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

The Important stuff

Guitar Amp Head — Guitar amp heads contain the main tone-shaping and power section of an amplifier, designed to be paired with a separate speaker cabinet. They let you choose different cabinets to suit your sound and setup, offering flexibility for home, studio or live use. If you want control over volume, tone and character without being tied to a single combo format, amp heads give you a modular way to build the rig that works best for you..
