Victory Amplification is excited to update the VC35 The Copper to include a wooden sleeved version to the compact family. The VC35 Copper is a single channel compact head, perfect for chiming cleans to royal overdrive: a hot-rodded four EL84 head for pop, rock, roots and more.

Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and unbeatable portability, Victory`s customers now have the option to choose between either the classic lunchbox style heads or the all-new wooden sleeved heads for the VC35 Copper.

The Copper is all about the chime. And the rock. And the rock’n’roll. And the roots and the blues and the pop… and anything else you want to coax from a quartet of EL84 output valves in the British tradition. The VC35 Copper came into Victory family lineup in 2019 with lunchbox head, then a year latter the Deluxe Copper head and combo were released to critical acclaim. Now the Copper family is complete with the perfect, compact wooden sleeved model. All the features and sounds from the original VC35 Copper are present but there are leather corners, a leather handle and a deluxe Victory logo, adding an extra layer of British handmade quality to the family.

Key Features

  • Plenty of Gain Options – You can dial in sparkly, chiming cleans right through to heavy gain rock sounds all from one knob. It’s very interactive with the tone controls, then balance to taste with the master volume.
  • Master Tone Cut – This global tone control works as it does in the classic Vox amps… except the trebly stuff is found clockwise. It’s great for that final high-end response tone tweak to your playing environment.
  • Reverb – VC35 has a no-hassle, super-reliable digital reverb (like the V40) to keep you ambient. Somewhere between room and plate… and there’s plenty available!
  • Series Effects Loop – If you’re running the VC35 gainy, your time-based effects – reverb and delay – will stay cleaner sounding here. Some people also like to run a stompbox boost pedal in their loops, for solo boosts.
  • High & Low Power – 35 watts/full power is great for punch and headroom; 7 watts low power gives less volume, more compression and a different harmonic and dynamic response.

Stuff About Amp Heads

An amp head contains the core tone and power of a guitar amplifier without the built-in speakers, allowing you to pair it with the cabinet of your choice. This setup offers greater flexibility over sound and volume, as different speaker cabinets can dramatically change the feel and character of the amp. Amp heads are available in valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, ranging from low-wattage studio models to high-powered touring rigs. They’re ideal for players who want a modular setup, precise control over their tone, and the ability to adapt their rig to different venues, cabinets, or recording situations.

Stuff About Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

The Important stuff

Guitar Amp Head — Guitar amp heads contain the main tone-shaping and power section of an amplifier, designed to be paired with a separate speaker cabinet. They let you choose different cabinets to suit your sound and setup, offering flexibility for home, studio or live use. If you want control over volume, tone and character without being tied to a single combo format, amp heads give you a modular way to build the rig that works best for you..
