Description

Building on the foundations of the Pinnacle Standard and the original Deluxe we are proud to bring to you the v2 of our biggest selling distortion pedal the Pinnacle Deluxe. We took everything we loved about the original and added many options to make the pedal more versatile. Before now the Deluxe was the same as the standard but with the boost on the stomp instead of a switch. The V2 comes with a new EQ more control and much more versatility. The first thing you?ll notice is the 3 band EQ. With this you will be able to sculpt your tone like never before. We?ve also added bright and bass boosts so you can get that fresh tone or the thump of a 4×12?. Then we added the ?Valve Screamer? based pre gain boost (that you can use when the pedal is bypassed) ? we all know how good this style of circuit pushes gain stages? Then the secret weapon. One the side is the SAG switch. This can allow you to remove that saggy crunch and tighten the response up dramatically so ? this v2 offers not only an updated take on a Wampler classic but also a plethora of new features that will be irresistible to tone chasers everywhere!

Distortion Pedals

Distortion clips the waveform more firmly than overdrive, generating dense upper harmonics, longer sustain and a more compressed response. Circuit topology and filtering decide whether the sound is tight and focused, broad and aggressive, smooth or deliberately abrasive. Gain sets the amount of clipping, while pre- and post-distortion tone controls strongly influence low-end definition, midrange presence and high-frequency texture.

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

Distortion pedals deliver the raw, aggressive edge that defines rock and metal, transforming your clean tone into something powerful and full of attitude. By pushing your signal into rich harmonic saturation, they create thick, sustaining sounds that cut through any mix. From classic crunchy riffs to high-gain modern mayhem, distortion pedals give you total control over how wild or tight your tone gets. Whether you’re crafting searing leads or heavy rhythm walls, they’re an essential tool for adding energy, bite, and character to your playing.
