Description

A lot of companies make overdrive pedals but very few come close to the tone of the vintage classics. Every component that goes into the Tumnus is chosen by Wampler’s tech experts for a sound as near as possible to that gold/silver boutique overdrive without you having to spend a small fortune on ebay. Check out the video to hear it for yourself.

Great range of tones

The Tumnus is versatile. You can stack it with another pedal to help push your gain, use it as a stand alone overdrive, or use it as a dirty boost to push the front end of your amp. The Tumnus’ 3 control knobs (Volume, Gain, and Tone) allow you to quickly dial in the sound you’re after.

Tone Buffering

This pedal has buffered bypass that maintains both signal quality and level with a low output impedance that works with long cables and feeds other true bypass pedals without losing as much tonal quality as true bypass.

Here’s what Wampler have to say about the Tumnus

There is one overdrive circuit to this day has been the most talked about, the most sought after, and the most mythical of them all. It’s big, it’s expensive, and it has certainly earned its place at the table. Wampler has painstakingly and faithfully reproduced that magical tone in all its glory in an unbelievably small package, and his name is Tumnus.

They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.
