The Warm Audio Warmdrive is a faithful reproduction of the highly revered Hermida Zendrive pedal, known for delivering the iconic tones of the Dumble Overdrive Special amp. Using carefully selected components and a true-to-original circuit design, the Warmdrive transforms even the cleanest of tones into a crunchy rhythm channel with plenty of grit. Pluging the Warmdrive into an already overdriven amp will take it further into saturation for searing high gain tones, perfect for leads.

Just like the original, the “secret sauce” of the Warmdrive lies in its unique Voice/Tone control. This versatile control allows you to modify the frequency both before (Voice control) and after (Tone control) the clipping stages for a host of useable amp-like overdrive sounds. Housed in a rugged metal encosure with carefully taspered knobs, the Warmdrive features true-bypass switching so you can be sure that your core tone remains in tact when the pedal is bypassed.

Key Features

  • Based on the iconic Dumble Overdrive Special – Enhance your pedalboard with the sounds of one of the most sought after amps in history!
  • Push & Blend Clean Tones – Dial in the perfect transparent overdrive, push a tube amp further into saturation, or boost solos with punch and clarity.
  • 4-Knob Versatility – Controls for Volume, Tone, Gain, and Voice put plenty of tone tweaking options at your feet. It's like adding a second premium amp to your rig!
  • True-to-Original Reproduction – The Warmdrive pairs premium components like 2N7000 MOSFETs and 1N34a Germanium / Schottky BAT41 diodes with a true-to-original circuit design to achieve the same tone and sonic profile of a very “zen” pedal.
  • Stacks Easily – The Warmdrive plays well with other drive pedals in your signal chain because of its amplifier-inspired sound profile and forgiving circuit design.
  • Made in USA – Like all Warm Audio gear, the Warmdrive is meticulously tested and inspected by real guitar players and trained technicians in Austin, TX USA.
