The Gibson Custom 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue is a tribute to one of the most legendary guitars ever made. With Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aging it captures the feel of a well-loved vintage instrument complete with a stunning Bourbon Burst finish. The plain maple top paired with a lightweight mahogany body delivers a resonant dynamic tone while the 50s Rounded Medium C neck profile offers a comfortable full grip for effortless playability. Equipped with unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups this reissue delivers the warm articulate tones of a true PAF-equipped Les Paul. A long-tenon hide-glued neck joint enhances sustain and resonance while the no-wire ABR-1 bridge and lightweight aluminium stop bar provide vintage-accurate hardware for perfect playability. From its aged nitrocellulose finish to its period-correct components this Les Paul embodies the character and soul of a late-50s classic.
