The Fender American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster perfectly captures the tone and feel of an original '60s Strat. With its refined aesthetics, slab Rosewood fingerboard, crystalline sound and comfortable medium "C" shape Maple neck, you would be forgiven for thinking you were playing a genuine vintage guitar. Featuring an Alder body with a Nitrocellulose lacquer finish, the 1961 Stratocaster is the stuff of legends, designed for players with a keen appreciation of vintage instruments!

At the heart of the '61 Strat is a trio of Pure Vintage '61 Stratocaster pickups for a host of sparkling single-coil tones that will take you back to the golden age of guitar building. Other premium appointments include a vintage-accurate synchronized tremolo with cold rolled steel block and bent steel saddles, single-line “Fender Deluxe” tuners and a three-ply pickguard.
