The Gibson Custom 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS captures the soul of the earliest Bursts with remarkable accuracy delivering the feel tone and look that has made late-50s Les Pauls some of the most revered guitars in history. Built using period-correct construction techniques hide-glue joints and a solid mahogany back with a two-piece plain maple top this 1958 Reissue offers the resonance sustain and woody harmonic response players associate with the originals. Finished in a gently aged VOS Iced Tea Burst every top is unique carrying the understated charm that defined the 58 aesthetic. The neck features the classic thick 50s Rounded Medium C profile offering a substantial grip that enhances sustain and bending leverage while historic narrow frets let more of the rosewood fingerboard come through tonally. Powered by Alnico 3 Custombuckers the guitar delivers sweet midrange bloom open clarity and the dynamic bite expected from a golden-era Burst. With period-correct hardware Switchcraft electronics and a Lifton reissue case this 1958 Reissue stands as a faithful recreation worthy of collectors and players alike.
