Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

SG

The Gibson SG (Solid Guitar) is a rock icon with attitude. Introduced in the early 1960s, it took the Les Paul’s power and gave it a sharper, lighter, double-cut design for faster access to higher frets. Its twin humbuckers deliver raw, biting tone and endless sustain — perfect for everything from blues to heavy rock. Played by legends like Angus Young and Tony Iommi, the SG proves that simplicity, style, and sheer power never go out of fashion.

White

White describes a clean, classic finish commonly used on guitars, pedals, and amplifiers. It offers a timeless look that can range from bright and modern to aged or vintage-styled, pairing easily with a wide variety of hardware and designs while keeping a simple, uncluttered appearance.
