The FRFR-Go is a portable, stylish speaker cabinet designed for guitarists and bassists who use amp modelers as a crucial part of their sound. This stylish 30W 2×3” FRFR cabinet is a portable and compact solution for use with their amp modeler at home. Unlike traditional guitar amplifiers, the FRFR-GO does not compromise the tone of the amplifier and cabinet emulations from your modelling pedals and is battery-powered providing up to 13 hours of battery life.

Key Features

  • The Portable FRFR Solution – The ultimate portable speaker for amp-modelling pedals!
  • Battery Powered – Up to 13 hours of battery life via built-in rechargeable battery
  • Stereo Speakers – Dual 3-inch speakers for accurate guitar amp and cabinet emulations, handling up to 30W of power.
  • Quick Connection – 1/4” (6.35mm) line-level input for direct amp modeler connection, and a Stereo 1/8” (3.5mm) auxiliary input for connecting other audio sources
  • Simple EQ – Bass and Treble EQ for quick sound adjustments
  • Stream Audio via Bluetooth – Stream audio wirelessly from any Bluetooth-enabled device.

You can also stream audio wirelessly from any Bluetooth-enabled device to play along with your favourite songs or use the 1/8” (3.5mm) aux input to connect a smart device or other audio source.

What is FRFR?

FRFR stands for “full-range flat-response” which is important as the amp’s sound needs to be flat and transparent so that it can deliver true emulations without colouring them the way a traditional guitar amp’s own characteristic sound would.

Bluetooth Enabled

Stream music wirelessly from your mobile device into FRFR-GO’s dedicated Bluetooth® channel. Simply hit the “Pair” button, select FRFR-GO on your mobile device, and you’ll be playing along with your favourite songs or online lesson service in no time.

All The Connections You Need

Unlike traditional guitar amplifiers, FRFR-GO features a mono 1/4” (6.35 mm) line-level input specifically designed for connecting to the output of your favourite amp modelling pedal. FRFR-GO also features a stereo 1/8” (3.5mm) aux input for connecting your amp modelling pedal in stereo, or for connecting a drum machine, or other mobile devices.

Bass and Treble EQ for Room Correction

The FRFR-GO features onboard EQ for adjusting the overall bass and treble of your sound without having to adjust your amp modeler. This makes it easy to fine tune your FRFR-GO’s sound to quickly accommodate troublesome furniture or other rooms.

Private Practice via Headphones

Getting late? Plug a pair of headphones into the 1/8” headphones output to mute the speaker so you can still use FRFR-Go’s Bluetooth® input with your amp modeler without bothering your family or neighbours.

Stuff About Amp Cabinets

A speaker cabinet is responsible for turning your amplifier’s power into the sound you actually hear, and it plays a huge role in the overall feel and character of your tone. Different cabinet sizes, speaker types, and configurations can affect everything from low-end punch to clarity and projection. Cabinets can be open-back or closed-back, single or multi-speaker, each offering a distinct response and spread in a room. Whether paired with a powerful amp head or a compact setup, the right speaker cabinet helps define how your guitar sits in a mix and how it feels to play.

Stuff About Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

The Important stuff

Cabinet — A cabinet is a speaker enclosure designed to be used with a guitar amplifier head, playing a crucial role in how your tone sounds and feels. The size of the cabinet, the number of speakers, and the type of speakers used all affect projection, low-end response, and overall character, shaping everything from tight, focused tones to wide, room-filling sound.. Guitar Amp Head — Guitar amp heads contain the main tone-shaping and power section of an amplifier, designed to be paired with a separate speaker cabinet. They let you choose different cabinets to suit your sound and setup, offering flexibility for home, studio or live use. If you want control over volume, tone and character without being tied to a single combo format, amp heads give you a modular way to build the rig that works best for you..
