Description

Following the success of their SE Custom 24-08, PRS has now unveiled an even more accessible option in the SE Standard 24-08. This Mahogany-bodied workhorse comes equipped with the flexible electronics that have made the 24-08 formula so popular, boasting two powerful PRS TCI “S” humbuckers, a 3-way toggle switch and two mini-toggle coil split switches that individually split the humbuckers into true-single coils — for a total of eight pickup configurations.

“It’s not so easy to get eight musical, usable pickup settings in one guitar, but there is something special this system that stands out. Being able to go from full humbuckers to the crisp clarity of single-coils and having all the in-between sounds brings a lot to these instruments.” – Paul Reed Smith.

The SE Standard 24-08 also lets you enjoy two full octaves courtesy of its 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard, while PRS’s famous 25” scale length provides optimal string tension for sublime playability — especially with the comfortable ‘Wide Thin’ Maple neck too. Another noteworthy feature is the PRS Molded Tremolo, which allows you to effortlessly embellish chords and lead lines with smooth vibrato — whenever inspiration strikes! With sonic range and rock-solid reliability, the PRS SE Standard 24-08 will keep you playing without compromise.
