Description

The Yamaha Pacifica 311H Electric Guitar in Red Metallic is In stock available now for fast UK delivery online for GBP 349 + Delivery. This excellent piece of kit is manufactured by Yamaha and in New condition and comes with a great warranty.

The Yamaha Pacifica guitar has long held its own amongst other brands as a range of great starter and intermediate electric guitars. The Yamaha Pacifica 311H is no different. With the 311H, Yamaha have bought a touch more originality to the Pacifica range by combining the straight-edged Pacifica body shape with a more vintage look which in the case of this metallic red model consists of a tortoiseshell pickguard, cream-covered P-90 pickup and chrome humbucker, and discreet chrome volume and tone knobs.

Functionally, the Pacifica 311H does not disappoint with the Humbucker / P90 combo offering a great range of vintage and modern pop and rock sounds with the help of a coil split, and high quality hardware including Tusq nut, Grover locking tuners, rosewood fretboard and maple neck completing this workhorse guitar.

Pacifica 311H Guitarist Magazine Review

Yamaha’s Pacificas have always ticked the value box, but this guitar adds an air of something more unique and desirable in the classic rock and blues cool of the 311: a good idea, well executed. Give it a go and see if there’s a budget boutique choice here for you.

Its humbucker is, if anything, better suited to giving warm, Gibson-style tones and, with a moderate gain setting, the reduced amount of bite from the guitar allows for a reasonable impression of Warren Haynes’s fat sound, albeit with a more transparent edge. We love the feel of the 311, and it plays very well indeed.

Pros: Great price. Smooth neck. Cons: A little under-powered in comparison to the 611.

Verdict: Proof that you don’t need to spend a small fortune to own a guitar that plays like a dream and sounds pretty good too – the very essence of Yamaha’s Pacifica concept.

About Yamaha

We have new and used Yamaha gear available on our website for fast direct delivery direct to you from across sellers in all areas of the USA & UK.

Yamaha, a well-known brand in the music industry, hasn’t been as prominent in the guitar effects pedal market compared to its focus on guitars, pianos, keyboards, and professional audio equipment. Yamaha’s pedal offerings have been relatively limited compared to other manufacturers, and they might not have had a wide range of standalone guitar effects pedals available.

However, Yamaha has produced a few models that guitarists might find interesting:

Yamaha UD-Stomp: The UD-Stomp is a multi-effects unit that Yamaha produced. It features a range of effects, amp modeling, and cabinet simulation, offering guitarists a variety of tones in a single pedal.

Yamaha Magicstomp: Another multi-effects unit, the Magicstomp, offers different effects and amp simulations suitable for guitarists seeking versatility in their tones. While it might not be the most recent release, it has been appreciated for its sound quality and features.

Yamaha’s pedal offerings, particularly in the effects pedal category, might not be as extensive as other brands that specialize specifically in guitar effects pedals. However, their multi-effects units often provide a wide array of sounds and functionalities within a single pedal.

For guitarists considering Yamaha pedals, it’s essential to evaluate the specific features, effects, and tones provided by these multi-effects units to determine if they suit your musical preferences and playing style. As always, listening to demos, trying out the pedals in person if possible, and seeking user reviews can assist in making an informed decision about whether a Yamaha multi-effects unit would be suitable for your guitar effects needs.
