LTD's 1000 Series guitars offer incredible tone, looks, playability and build quality, making them a popular choice for professional musicians. The Deluxe MH-1000 Baritone is designed to handle the extended lower range of modern metal and rock with its 27” scale and typical tuning a fourth below standard (B-E-A-D-F#-B). The extended scale length helps to retain ideal string tension and tone for optimal performance and tone. Featuring an arched Mahogany body with a Maple cap, the MH-1001 Baritone offers several player-friendly features including an extra-thin U-shaped Maple neck with a compound radius Ebony fingerboard. 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets allow for huge string bends and they won't wear out like other fret types.

Powering the MH-1000 are a pair of direct-mount EMG 81 and EMG 60TW-R humbuckers with coil-split option via a push-pull tone pot. Optimized for searing high-gain tones, the EMG pickups deliver surprisingly sparkly cleans tones too, particularly when in single-coil mode.  Other features include a set of LTD locking tuners for optimal tuning stability and a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body.

Key Features

  • Ergonomic Body Shape – A modern, double-cut body shape that offers excellent comfort and playability.
  • Compound Radius Fingerboard – The fingerboard gradually gets flatter the higher up the neck you go. The result is an improved playability for both rhythm playing near the nut and soloing around the upper frets.
  • Extra Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets – Stainless Steel frets are incredibly tough and won't wear down over time. The extra jumbo fret profile allows for huge string bends without fretting out.
  • EMG 81/60TW-R Humbuckers – A ferocious set of direct mounted humbuckers with plenty of crunch and aggressiveness that is perfect for high-gain tones. A push-pull tone control allows you to split the coils for some sparkly single-coil sounds too!
  • Locking Tuners – Locking tuners facilitate lightning fast string changes whilst ensuring optimal tuning stability.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
