The Trapper Dual Fuzz pedal was created by the in-house team of eggheads over at Fender and features an all-original, genuine Fender circuit. It pairs two discrete, but unique fuzz tones (calm and possessed) and loads them into one compact unit. It is a brilliant high-quality stompbox which would make a versatile addition to your pedalboard. This pedal is the beating heart of rock ‘n’ roll.

A Backbone of Modern Music

There’s no question that fuzz is a key ingredient in the general makeup of modern-day music. The Trapper offers two distinct fuzz tones which can be simply alternated between. Voice 1 is softer and contains a switchable high octave. It is absolutely perfect for producing synth styled tones. Voice 2 provides a stark contrast. It’s far grittier and includes an interactive noise gate. Both channels also have their own global contour and tone controls, allowing you to craft the sound to your exact liking.

Made for Gigging

This pedal is built for gigging. The lightweight anodized aluminium case is extremely rugged and will stand up to any punishment thrown at it while you’re performing. It’s especially suitable for heavy stomping! Each individual knob is also backlit with a switchable LED, letting you quickly reference your current settings – even while on a dark stage.

Switching in a new battery is quick and effortless. A patent-applied-for, magnetic latch 9-volt battery door makes removing and replacing your power supply super easy. It’s a great design choice – particularly if your pedal suddenly runs out of juice halfway through a set!

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Dual. Fuzz — Fuzz is one of the earliest and most distinctive guitar effects, known for its thick, gritty, and saturated tone that completely transforms your sound. It works by heavily clipping the audio signal, producing a raw, almost broken distortion that defined the sound of the ’60s and ’70s rock era. Classic pedals like the Fuzz Face and Big Muff became legendary for their roaring sustain and rich harmonic texture. Modern fuzz pedals range from vintage-style warmth to wild, synth-like chaos, making them perfect for players who want to add character, attitude, and a touch of chaos to their tone.. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own..
