Aaron Marshall is a modern guitar virtuoso. The mastermind behind Canadian progressive metal outfit Intervals, Marshall's incredible technical proficiency and ear for melody has set him apart from most of his contemporaries. After years of playing custom instruments from all kinds of exotic brands, Marshall has finally found his home at Schecter — launching a high-performance signature guitar that's understated in the looks department, but packing some serious player-centric appointments!

Key Features

  • Basswood Body — A light, balanced-sounding tonewood that allows the full character of the Schecter USA pickups to shine through.
  • Wenge Neck — Dense, stiff timber that ensures superb tuning stability. Satin finish offers a fast, slippery feel too!
  • 12"-16” Compound Radius Fingerboard — This ergonomic fingerboard radius is slightly rounded at the lower end of the neck to make chords easier to fret, and flattens out the higher you go so that fast passages feel much easier to play. It also helps to prevent string bends from fretting out!
  • 24 X-Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets — Large size offers a controllable feel for wide vibrato and pitch-perfect string bends. Stainless steel material is corrosion-resistant and harder to wear down than conventional fret-wire.
  • Schecter USA Pickups — Solstice and Equinox humbuckers are optimised for the tight, punchy and articulate riffs/leads that Marshall is renowned for.
  • 5-Position Pickup Selector Switch — Yields 5 sounds in total; providing a mixture of full humbucking and split-coil tones.
  • Gotoh Tremolo — Superbly-machined, 2-point bridge offers a responsive vibrato action and ensures precise return to pitch after heavy use.
  • Hipshot Grip-Lock Tuners — Ingenious locking mechanism makes restringing easier and means less string winds around the tuning posts; resulting a better tuning stability.
  • Graph Tech Nut — Low-friction material minimises unwanted tuning slips.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
