The Classic Vibe is back in full vintage force. Squier have kitted the Tele out with cool retro features aligned with the hardware, woods and specs used to build the first Fender guitars.

Telecasters have always had an old school feel, but the Classic Vibe takes things to the next level. The black pickguard, ashtray bridge and plenty more pay homage to the ‘50s design.

Construction

As you’d expect from a classically styled guitar, the Squier Tele opts for a Pine body with comfortable Maple neck and tall narrow frets. This is super easy to pick up and play, no matter your ability or preferences. There’s nothing better than a guitar that feels familiar as soon as it’s in your hands.

Sound

This is where the Squier comes into its own. This Tele is equipped with Fender designed single coil pickups, pushing a low output smooth tone. It has plenty of grit when you crank the gain and a naturally nasal, twangy tone.

Hardware

What’s a ‘50s Tele without an ashtray bridge? The three-saddle construction is a true vintage appointment. Not only does it add plenty of aesthetic accuracy, but will help keep the guitar in tune and the intonation steady.

Stuff About Squier

Squier is Fender’s sister brand, created to make the classic Fender sound and style accessible to everyone. Originally a string manufacturer acquired by Fender in the 1960s, Squier began producing affordable versions of iconic models like the Stratocaster, Telecaster, and Precision Bass in the early 1980s. Despite their lower price, Squier instruments are praised for their solid build, reliable performance, and authentic Fender feel. They’ve become a favourite among beginners, hobbyists, and even gigging musicians who appreciate great tone without the hefty price tag. Squier continues to deliver genuine Fender spirit for players at every level.

The Important stuff

50s. Blonde. Classic. in. Telecaster — The Telecaster is one of the most iconic electric guitars ever made, first introduced by Fender in the early 1950s. Known for its simple design, solid body, and distinctive twang, it became the go-to instrument for country, rock, blues, and punk players alike. Its two single-coil pickups deliver bright, cutting tones with great clarity, making it perfect for both rhythm and lead work. The Tele’s bolt-on neck, smooth playability, and rugged build have helped it remain a timeless classic — a true workhorse guitar that’s still inspiring musicians over 70 years after its debut.. VIBE.
