Key Features

  • Ibanez TQM Pickups – These pickups precisely reflect subtle playing nuances and produce a natural clean voicing that works well with various effect pedals. The TQM pickups are mandatory to realize the “Tom Quayle signature sound”.
  • Ergonomic Body Carves – A shallow body back contour and a big forearm contour make the guitar body fit the player naturally, thus increasing playing comfort.
  • The Super Neck Joint – The Super All Access Neck Joint increases playability and allows for easy access to the higher frets.
  • Dyna-MIX9 Switching System – The dyna-MIX 9 offers nine sound variations and can switch between humbucker and single coil modes with just a flick of the mini switch. One mode even simulates a humbucking sound from the combination of two single coil pickups.
  • Luminlay Side Dots – The Luminlay side dot position marks make it easy for players to see fretboard position marks when performing on dark stages.
  • Flame Maple Top – The Flamed Maple top displays a beautiful wood grain. The Alder body delivers a well-balanced bright tone, enriched resonance and sustain.
  • Rosewood Fretboard – Rosewood fretboard provides a well-balanced solid tone with a focused mid-range.

For starters, check out the awe-inspiring charcoal flame Maple top with a scraped binding, and then for the main course, check out some of the key features that make this guitar such a stand-out machine, such as the critically acclaimed Gotoh hardware, a very stable roasted Maple neck for superior tuning stability, and the ergonomic body carves which make this guitar wonderfully comfortable to play.

For dessert, lets talk about the TQM pickups – these pickups have been tested rigorously by Tom to deliver incredible dynamic range and clarity, and give the user the ability to get that signature Tom Quayle tone!

Oval C S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple Neck

Roasted Maple Neck – The S-TECH special roasted treatment increases the wood’s stability, durability, water resistance and tolerance of temperature changes. The neck is sealed with an oil finish which helps make it feel similar to a well-played guitar neck.

Gotoh Tremolo

The T1702B tremolo bridge provides quick response and improved articulation. The 10.5mm string spacing allows for easy picking across strings and its snap-in construction makes it easy to load a tremolo arm. The tremolo block and saddles are made of brass, facilitating better overall resonance.

Oil-impregnated Bone nut /Stainless Steel Frets

The Oil-impregnated bone nut provides superior tuning stability and warm rich resonance. Stainless steel frets boast excellent corrosion resistance. The wide and tall fret-type offers a quick response, good articulation when playing chords and clear tone when playing single notes.

Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads w/H.A.P. (Height Adjustable Post)

GOTOH MAGNUM LOCK machine heads have an established reputation for tuning stability. Its H. A. P (Height Adjustable Post). system allows for the adjustment of string posts for the appropriate tension of each string.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
