With its solid top, built-in pickup and digital tuner, and compact, player-friendly scale, the GS Mini-e Mahogany offers a portable musical experience that doesn’t compromise on sound. This model features a solid mahogany top with layered sapele back and sides, resulting in a punchy midrange sound with enough projection to handle practice sessions, jams with friends and even live performance. With its spontaneous personality and relaxed feel, it’s also a great choice for hashing out songwriting ideas and improving your skills. Whatever your musical direction, this GS Mini has a role to play.

Key Features

  • Solid Mahogany Top – Favoured for its warm and resonant tone, Mahogany acoustic guitars are renowned for their musical depth and rich harmonics.
  • Layered Sapele Back/Sides – Sapele is an excellent tonewood choice in guitar building, it has a beautifully balanced tone with a sweet top end, perfect for a large variety of different playing styles.
  • Ebony Fingerboard – A premium fingerboard tonewood choice, Ebony provides a beautiful brightness to the overall tone of the instrument. A perfect complement to the richness of the rosewood back and sides.

GS Mini

The Taylor GS Mini is a shrunk down version of the incredible Grand Symphony body shape that quickly became a favorite of artists all around the world. From strummers to finger pickers the Grand Symphony was one of the guitars to have thanks to its versatile tonal range, stunning dynamic definition and strong projection that means you will always be head. This shrunk down version looks to keep all of these traits but at a much smaller size meaning you will never have to go anywhere without your precious acoustic again. Due to the body being a lot smaller that the normal Grand Symphony it may not have the punch or the power but it still has the same incredible versatile tone.

Mahogany Body

Taylor are known for being able to get the best out of any kind of acoustic guitar materials. That is why you can get the GS Mini in so many flavours including this Mahogany backed version that delivers a great warm tone when compared to other models that really lets you single note line and fingerpicked runs come to life like you wouldn’t expect out of a small guitar like this. If definition and depth are what you are after you can not go wrong with Mahogany.

ES-B

Incorporating the same acoustic guitar pickup design of the Taylor ES2 system, which utilises 3 piezo transducers optimally positioned behind the saddle for a fuller and more natural tone, the ES-B additionally includes a built-in 3-band preamplifier and built-in digital tuner. This gives even more flexibility to an already near-perfect pickup system.
