The Big Baby Taylor has long been a popular choice for new learners and experienced players alike thanks to its combination of punchy tone and portability. A slightly scaled-down Dreadnought body with a narrower depth provides an accommodating feel whether you play seated or standing, and the slender neck offers comfortable fretting regardless of your skill level. With a solid spruce top for projection and built-in electronics with a digital tuner, the Big Baby Taylor is a great option for practice, travel, lessons and more. It ships with a lightweight gig bag.

Key Features

  • Big Baby shape – The biggest of Taylors small bodies, the Big Baby is just shy of a full-size guitar.
  • Sitka Spruce Top – The soundboard choice for most guitars, Sitka spruce produces a broad dynamic range and accommodates a versatile range of playing styles.
  • Layered Walnut – Rich brown hues lend a pleasing aesthetic warmth to the guitars that showcase it.

ES-B

Incorporating the same acoustic guitar pickup design of the Taylor ES2 system which utilises 3 piezo transducers optimally positioned behind the saddle for a fuller and more natural tone, the ES-B additionally includes a built-in 3-band preamplifier and built-in digital tuner. This gives even more flexibility to a already near perfect pickup system.

Stuff About Electro-Acoustic Guitars

Electro-acoustic guitars combine the natural sound and feel of an acoustic guitar with built-in electronics for amplification. Fitted with pickups and preamp controls, they allow you to plug directly into an amp, PA system, or recording setup while retaining an acoustic character. They’re ideal for live performance, rehearsal, and home recording, offering volume control and tonal adjustment without relying solely on microphones. Electro-acoustic guitars suit players who want the warmth and responsiveness of an acoustic instrument with the flexibility to play amplified when needed.
