Following in the footsteps of their incredible bass collaboration with Marcus Miller, Sire have teamed up with iconic fusion guitarist Larry Carlton to create their own line supreme acoustic guitars. The A4 is a classy instrument boasting high-end features you simply won't find among competitors.

Construction

The A4 is made using classic woods with a twist. The body consists of a solid mahogany back and sides and a roasted sapele top – resulting in great warmth and encompassing sound projection. Roasting, otherwise known as baking, is a favoured Sire design method ensuring longevity of the instrument and strong vibrations flowing throughout the body as you play.

Sire always produce on the playability front. The luxurious “C” shape neck feels effortless to play, matched with the flat 16” rosewood fretboard and those glorious rolled edges. The A4 is also a stylistically modern acoustic, adorned with herringbone binding and bar inlays.

Grand Auditorium size

Grand auditorium acoustics are extremely versatile, bridging the gap between the smaller grand concert and larger dreadnought. They deliver pronounced tones and are perfect for nuanced fingerpicking. The A4 has an upper cutaway, allowing you to reach higher frets for a wider variety of playing potential.

Electronics

Plug the A4 acoustic into a mixer/PA system when you need to tap into higher volume levels. Thanks to the onboard SIB Acoustic EQ System, you're able to blend the inbuilt piezo under saddle pickup and condenser microphone together to recreate accurate acoustic tones.

Stuff About Electro-Acoustic Guitars

Electro-acoustic guitars combine the natural sound and feel of an acoustic guitar with built-in electronics for amplification. Fitted with pickups and preamp controls, they allow you to plug directly into an amp, PA system, or recording setup while retaining an acoustic character. They’re ideal for live performance, rehearsal, and home recording, offering volume control and tonal adjustment without relying solely on microphones. Electro-acoustic guitars suit players who want the warmth and responsiveness of an acoustic instrument with the flexibility to play amplified when needed.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. The Important stuff

Auditorium. Natural — Natural guitars showcase the beauty of the wood itself, with finishes that highlight the grain, colour, and character of each piece. Favoured by players who appreciate simplicity and authenticity, natural finishes let the instrument’s craftsmanship and tonewoods speak for themselves. Whether it’s the warm glow of mahogany or the bright shimmer of maple, a natural guitar has a timeless, organic look that never goes out of style. These instruments often feel more connected to their acoustic roots, offering both visual elegance and a sense of purity that appeals to musicians across all genres..
