This Grand Pacific dreadnought is crafted with back and sides of layered Indian rosewood paired with a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top, yielding a warm, aged-in tonal character to complement its bold projection and clear low-end power.

Inside, our cantilevered V-Class bracing enhances the response with more volume, longer sustain and clearer harmony between notes, offering near-perfect pitch accuracy across the frequency spectrum.

Like other 200 Series models, this guitar features a hand-friendly nut width of 1-11/16 inches, making for relaxed fretting for players of all skill levels. Along with a striking sunburst color treatment for the top inspired by the 50th Anniversary version released in 2024, this model boasts a full-body gloss finish, nickel tuning machines, a black pickguard, a single-ring faux-pearl rosette, black body binding and 4mm dot fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic. It includes ES2 electronics and ships with a sturdy, lightweight AeroCase.

The Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) is a revolutionary pickup design that delivers the latest in Taylor’s ongoing innovation in acoustic guitar amplification. The heart of the Expression System 2 is Taylor’s patented behind-the-saddle pickup, which features three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors. The location of the sensors enables a more dynamic range of acoustic sound to be captured than ever before.

Together with Taylor’s custom-designed “professional audio”-grade preamp, this system produces exceptional amplified tone and responsiveness. On stage through a PA, plugged into your favorite acoustic amplifier, or direct into recording software, the Expression System 2 faithfully conveys the voice of your Taylor guitar.
