Within its guitar line, Taylor is rolling out several Studio-edition models that offer players a premium-performance guitar at a more value-oriented price. This Sunset Boulevard Studio model marries that design approach with the unique aesthetic touches of this exclusive offering. It starts with Taylor’s best-selling cutaway Grand Auditorium body style and features the classic all-solid-wood tonewood pairing of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce. Premium voicing enhancements include Taylor’s V-Class bracing architecture and a torrefied (specially roasted) soundboard that yields a more played-in sound from the first strum. Rosewood’s high-fidelity tone, featuring rich lows and bell-like highs, gives players a colourful and versatile sonic palette to explore. Among the standout aesthetic details are a full-gloss body that visually amplifies the rosewood’s beautiful woodgrain and the Sunset Edgeburst top. Other distinctive details include chamfered body edges with black and white top purfling, a three-ring rosette with alternating black and white purfling, a faux tortoiseshell pickguard, Taylor’s onboard ES2 electronics, and a structured, padded gig bag with built-in backpack straps and two carrying handles.

Stuff About Acoustic Guitars

Acoustic guitars produce their sound naturally through the vibration of the strings and body, offering a direct and expressive playing experience. They come in a wide range of styles, including steel string and classical designs, each with its own feel and tonal character. Body shape, wood choice, and construction all influence warmth, projection, and balance, making acoustics suitable for everything from gentle fingerstyle to confident strumming. Whether used for songwriting, practice, or performance, acoustic guitars provide a simple, honest connection between the player and the music.

Stuff About Electro-Acoustic Guitars

Electro-acoustic guitars combine the natural sound and feel of an acoustic guitar with built-in electronics for amplification. Fitted with pickups and preamp controls, they allow you to plug directly into an amp, PA system, or recording setup while retaining an acoustic character. They’re ideal for live performance, rehearsal, and home recording, offering volume control and tonal adjustment without relying solely on microphones. Electro-acoustic guitars suit players who want the warmth and responsiveness of an acoustic instrument with the flexibility to play amplified when needed.
