This faithful recreation captures the essence of the early 1960s model, expertly aged by the artisans at the Murphy Lab to evoke the look, feel, and tonal character of a well-loved vintage instrument.
Featuring a thermally aged Sitka spruce top with traditional scalloped X-bracing, the 1963 Dove delivers the rich, resonant tone of a seasoned vintage guitar. The beautifully flamed maple back and sides finished in Cherry add visual elegance and contribute to the guitar’s bright, full-bodied sound. A mahogany neck with a comfortable round profile and an Indian rosewood fretboard adorned with mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays completes the classic vintage aesthetic.
