Featuring a Goldo tremolo unit and Gotoh locking tuners, it delivers dynamic range and expressive tones with smooth playability. The bone nut further enhances the guitar’s natural and balanced resonance.  This guitar features a chambered body and carbon reinforcement developed with Yamaha’s exclusive Acoustic Design process to sculpt tone, reduce weight, and ensure optimal balance. Dual humbucking pickups, combined with a 5-position pickup selector and a passive push/pull Focus Switch, provide unique versatility for a dual-pickup guitar.

Premium Features from Top to Bottom

Marking six decades of innovation, this 60th Anniversary model offers a perfect blend of visual appeal and musical performance featuring a Goldo tremolo unit and Gotoh locking tuners, which deliver excellent tuning stability, dynamic range, and expressive playability. The bone nut further enhances the guitar’s natural and balanced resonance.

Chambered Body

The Revstar RSP20B 60th Anniversary guitar features a chambered body designed to sculpt tone and reduce weight, with carbon reinforcement in the body and neck to improve vibration transfer.

Versatile Switching

The push/pull tone control functions as a FOCUS SWITCH, activating a passive boost that emulates overwound pickups—darker highs, enhanced mids and lows for more aggressive tone. In addition, the 5-WAY SWITCHING system introduces a subtle phase shift in positions 2 and 4 by slightly delaying the opposite pickup, offering a fresh take on classic “in-between” sounds.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
