Stomp back to where it all began with the Rock N Roll Relics Stinger Boost. Based on arguably the most important and influential single knobbed effects pedals in Rock and Roll, the Stinger Boost brings the acclaimed harmonic tones of the Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster to any setup, without busting the bank!

Wired by hand in the Hollywood Hills, the Stinger Boost boasts the legendary vocal-like mid-range boost found on many of the most sought-after guitar tones from the likes of Eric Clapton, Brian May and Rory Gallagher. Boasting NOS ‘70s components throughout this classic circuit is pushed to its limits with an increased bandwidth of EQ providing a more full-range boost that remains true to the famed mid-range pump. In addition to the typical Germanium transistor-based circuit the Stinger Boost also features a Silicon mode for even more attack, bite and articulation.

Key Features

  • Modified Rangemaster – Modified to maintain the full-range of the guitar’s EQ spectrum, the Stinger Boost remains faithful to the legendary Rangemaster mid-range pump but with increased highs and punchier lows.
  • 30dB – Stand out in any busy mix and hit the front end of your valve amp or drive pedals like never before, thanks to this boost’s 30dB of increased gain.
  • NOS – Built through and through using high-quality NOS components from the ‘70s, the RNRR Stinger Boost not only pay tribute to the heyday of Rock N Roll, it utilises this golden era to create the most authentic tones possible.

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Boost

Boost pedals give your signal that extra push — perfect for cutting through the mix or driving your amp into sweet natural overdrive. Whether you want a clean volume lift for solos or a touch of grit to wake up your tone, a good boost adds clarity, punch, and presence without changing your core sound. Simple, powerful, and essential on any board, a boost pedal can turn a good tone into a great one with just one stomp.

. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own..
