Stuff About Classical Guitars

Classical guitars use nylon strings and a wider neck to produce a warm, rounded tone with excellent clarity and touch sensitivity. They are traditionally associated with classical and flamenco music, but are also widely used in folk, jazz, and contemporary styles. The lower string tension makes them comfortable to play and well suited to fingerstyle techniques and expressive dynamics. Classical guitars offer an intimate, natural sound that encourages precision, control, and a close connection between the player and the instrument.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

The Important stuff

Hollow — Hollow body guitars are known for their warm, open tone and natural resonance, created by a fully hollow construction that allows the body to vibrate more like an acoustic instrument. They are closely associated with jazz, blues and vintage-style sounds, offering rich lows and smooth highs with a more organic feel. If you are drawn to expressive playing, dynamic response and classic character, hollow body guitars bring a distinctive voice that stands apart from solid body designs.. Semi-Hollow — Semi-hollow guitars blend the warmth and resonance of a hollow body with the feedback control and sustain of a solid body. Featuring a solid centre block running through the body, they deliver rich, open tones with added bite — perfect for blues, jazz, rock, and soul. From smooth cleans to gritty overdrive, semi-hollows like the ES-335 have become timeless favourites for players who want depth, character, and versatility in one beautifully balanced instrument..
