This is a great little amp from AER and Tommy Emmanuel. With 60watts of power and a 1×8 Dual Cone this is a solid choice for the studio or the stage.

Aboriginal art etched into one side of the cabinet symbolizes Tommy’s deep love for his homeland of Australia and its people, and in particular his connection to Aboriginal Australians.

German amp manufacturer AER: The Acoustic People and guitarist Tommy Emmanuel have formalized their relationship with the release of the new Compact TE signature acoustic amp. The signature amp is based on AER’s best-selling Compact 60, the 60W model used most often by Emmanuel.

The Signature Edition replaces the standard delay with a delay designed to replicate setting 99 (reverb combined with chorus) from an old workhorse Alesis MidiVerb. This gives the sound extra width and depth. You can dial in as much or as little as you need, but even turned up to relatively high levels, the effect is remarkably transparent.

Here’s What AER have to say about this amp

The accomplished Australian fingerstyle player has long been an unofficial AER ambassador and one of the best-known users of the company’s products. Over the years, Emmanuel has relied on a number of different AER amps and has recently incorporated the company’s Colourizer sound-shaping preamp tool into his rig.

“Our relationship with Tommy began organically several years ago. He has always played our amps ‘as-is’,” said AER President Udo Roesner. “No tweaks, no hidden secrets. So rather than piling on a list of additional features that Tommy himself has never relied on, we chose instead to give his amp a truly personal feel by incorporating tributes to several of his influences.”

The Important stuff

60. Amp. Compact. Guitar Amps and Cabs — Guitar amps and cabs are at the heart of your tone, shaping everything from crisp clean sounds to heavy distortion. Combo amps combine the speaker and amplifier in one portable unit, ideal for rehearsals and small gigs, while separate amp heads and cabinets offer more power and flexibility for stage use. Valve amps deliver classic warmth and dynamic response, while solid-state and modelling amps provide reliable performance and a wide range of tones. Guitar cabinets, from compact 1x12s to full 4×12 stacks, influence projection and character, so matching the right amp and cab setup is key to getting your perfect sound.. Signature.
