Alvarez Concert ukuleles have been designed to produce an open, responsive sound you can only get from an instrument built with high-quality components.

The American-based company have poured 50 years-worth of stringed instrument design into their ukes adding features that make them last wherever you take it and whatever you play.

Body and neck

All Alvarez ukes are constructed with a dovetail neck joint to provide strength and optimal transfer of energy between the neck and body. The traditional fan bracing optimises the sound response, as well as the slotted engineered Rosewood fingerboard.

The Concert uke also benefits from sophisticated Acacia and Mahogany tonewoods that combine to deliver a lively sound. A real bone nut and premium chrome tuners keep the Alvarez uke in stable tuning unlike cheaper instruments.

Hardware

This acoustic-electric model boasts an AUE-20 EQ and pickup, so if you need that extra boost in sound for bigger audiences, simply plug into an acoustic amp and adjust the tone with ease.

The Ukulele Design

Originally from Hawaii, Ukuleles have experienced something of a resurgence in recent years. Famed for their distinctive chirpy sound and accessible form-factor, they’re more popular than ever. They’re often found with nylon strings and an extremely compact size that allows it to be easily transported.

Combining modern manufacture techniques with unique tonewood treatments, Alvarez Ukuleles strike the perfect balance between precision and fun. Expect a soft, charming tone and an instrument that’s as easy to play as it is to take on your next road trip!
