Construction

The Alvarez MF66ce is constructed predominantly from Solid African Mahogany, with its entire body crafted from this exotic tonewood. Offering a supremely warm and rich mid-range, this material also accentuates the lows to ensure that the full dynamic range of the instrument is heard.

The MF66ce also features Alvarez’s thoughtful FS6 bracing, which is essentially a forward-shifted lightweight X brace design. With the axis of the X closer to the sound hole, this design forms a larger soundboard area that can harness more vibrations from the strings. This allows the guitar to resonate more naturally, allowing for the character of the body shape and size to sing and shine through.

LR Baggs HiFi

Utilising a duo of non-invasive high-fidelity bridge sensor plates, the LR Baggs Hifi offers an exceptionally balanced and authentic acoustic guitar tone with natural dynamics and definition. What’s even better is that the peel-and-stick design of the sensors means that no under-saddle transducers are required meaning that nothing gets in the way of the strings properly resonating with the bone saddle and the beautiful solid top of the MF66ce.
