The Grand Performer

The Alvarez grand auditorium cutaway electro acoustic guitar has similar dimensions to a dreadnought, but with a narrower waist to pronounce the treble notes a little more. The hand-selected ‘A’ grade solid Sitka Spruce top and the striking Mahogany back and sides give the guitar a warm, resonant tone and the SYS650 blend system EQ helps you be heard on stage. Great for finger-picking and strumming, this guitar is a true all-rounder.

Along with a more angled headstock, the Alvarez bi-level bridge increases string tension by changing the angle of the strings from the saddle to the top more acute. By improved the stability of the string tension, this adds to the guitars sound, responsiveness and tonal quality, heightened to a higher level with a nut and saddle made out of real bone!

Key Features

  • Premium Tone Woods – Featuring hand-selected solid “A” grade solid Sitka spruce top, with Mahogany back & sides. Mahogany has a thick bottom end, a controlled high end, and a perfect midrange. It’s a tonewood that perfectly balances all ranges of sound, meaning the instrument is built to deliver.
  • High Build Quality – Alvarez has high build quality, and includes a premium build feature that aids in the projection of sound and resonance with unique bracing designs to special Bi-Level Bridge designs.
  • SYS650 blend system EQ – This is a dual pickup system made up of an under saddle pickup and a transducer pickup placed under the soundboard. Either pickup can be selected or one can blend between the two pickups to fine-tune the responses for lead or rhythm work.
  • Cutaway – A cutaway is the way the guitar is built near the upper frets, making it easier to reach, and play.
