The compact Linden E.Q. brings those golden tones of yesteryear to your modern bass rig, the Linden E.Q. captures the sweetest and most recorded bass E.Q. circuit in a simple foot operated box.

The Barber Linden is a ultra high headroom device that employs a sophisticated power scheme to draw 25 working DC volts from a standard 9 volt supply, resulting in far superior headroom over a standard 9 volt powered pedal.

Key Features

  • Superior Headroom – The Linden draws 25 volts of power from a standard 9V supply, delivering superior headroom for harmonically stunning tone.
  • Simple Layout – The Linden features two toggle switches which elevate your workflow to the point where you can reliably sculp your tone without the slightest worry of submenu drama.
  • Expertly Handmade – This pedal has real honest solder lugs for jacks, a true-bypass footswitch, toggles and pots. Nothing but the best tried and true hand-built methods adorn the interior to always ensure maximum quality.

The E.Q. circuit is derived from the great flip top amps that were manufactured in Linden New Jersey, our new pedal pays homage to these great portable bass amps and their excellent eq.

The Linden’s EQ is a perfect balance tight and powerful low band with a seductively sweet high band that is somehow “charmingly aggressive” without any abrasive shards that could offend. The new compact version has two toggle switches to allow you to choose from EQ curves for aggressive upper mids, open highs, or softer mids for aggressive playing styles, and the second toggle allows you to choose between normal, bright and tight input path.

Handmade, Hand-Soldered

The Exacta Vintage Fuzz has real honest solder lugs for jacks, a true-bypass footswitch, toggles and pots. Nothing but the best tried and true hand-built methods adorn the interior. The Five Watt World Plus Boost pedal has a generous 2 1/2” of clearance between the front edge of the footswitch and the back edge of the knobs, no fear about accidentally changing your settings with each click of your footswitch.

Specifications

  • Power: Powered by standard 9 volt – tip supplies. Do not use more than 9 volts DC, as the voltage is tripled by internal circuit. Current draw 40ma does not accept batteries, does not include power supply.

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

EQ. Grey. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own..
