The Shredzilla Archtop is a sleek double cut designed with shredders and metal players in mind. Featuring an ergonomic body shape and a no heel, neck thru body construction, the Shredzilla Archtop practically plays itself! The arched top offers a comfortable playing experience whilst the double cutaway design allows for excellent access to all 24 frets. A 5-piece Wenge/Maple neck delivers improved stability and a beautiful 14″ radius Indian Ebony fingerboard lends itself perfectly to lead playing, anywhere on the neck. You’ll also find that heavy riffage on the lower frets feels great under your fingers too!

Driving the Shredzilla Archtop is a pair of legendary DiMarzio Super Distortion ™ humbuckers, optimised for high gain tones. Rich in harmonic content with a smooth sustain, the Super Distortion ™ is the perfect blend of power and tone! Each humbucker can be coil split for some sparkly single coils tones too! An EverTune Model F bridge coupled with a set of Grover locking Rotomatic tuners ensures the Shredzilla Archtop stays perfectly in tune under any conditions.

Key Features

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
