Expansion Options

The KATANA Gen 3 100w Combo has jacks for up to two footswitches and an expression pedal. If you use the optional Bluetooth audio MIDI dual adaptor, (BT-DUAL) you can get wireless audio playback from a mobile device and remote editing from the Boss Tone Studio app.

The BOSS Tone Studio has an updated interface for a more intuitive workflow. Customize the onboard effects with over 60 premium BOSS types. There are a whole host of detailed amp and effect editing tools, including deep parameter controls, effect order, and more – you can even save and organize livesets for different playing applications!

Amplify External Modelers

Along with its self-contained operation, KATANA 100 Gen 3 is also a great monitor for an external setup such as a direct-to-PA pedalboard. All you need to do is connect to the Power Amp In jack to bypass the KATANA preamp and use the reactive Class AB power section to amplify any modeler or external preamp.
