The Casino is an original Epiphone guitar design with class and style in abundance! First appearing in 1961, the instrument was initially popularised by the likes of Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones), The Beatles and blues legend Howlin' Wolf. In the decades since, the Casino has remained Epiphone's best-selling archtop electric guitar, with a host of modern masters using the model's signature sound to great effect — including Noel Gallagher and The Edge (U2).

Maintaining the classic design elements that make the Casino a rock n' roll legend — namely a large hollowbody construction, an elegant trapeze tailpiece and a punchy P-90 pickup pairing — the Epiphone Casino promises a scintillating sound with superb playability to boot!

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Hollow Body Electric Guitars

Hollow body electric guitars feature a fully hollow construction that gives them a warm, resonant, and open tone. The air inside the body enhances natural acoustic character, making these guitars especially popular for jazz, blues, and vintage-inspired styles. They respond beautifully to touch and dynamics, offering rich chord detail and smooth lead tones, though they are generally best suited to lower to moderate volume levels. Hollow body electric guitars are ideal for players who value warmth, expressiveness, and a more organic feel in their amplified sound.

The Important stuff

Hollow Body. Vintage Sunburst — Vintage Sunburst is a classic guitar finish that fades from a darker outer edge into a warm amber or lighter centre, highlighting the natural wood grain. It is strongly associated with traditional electric and acoustic guitars, offering a timeless look that reflects classic craftsmanship and heritage design..
