The Crestwood was Epiphone's first solid-body electric guitar. Originally appearing in 1958, a modified version took its place just a year later – the Crestwood Custom. Fast-forward to 2020, and Epiphone has brought this retro rocker back to life with all of its vintage charm still intact – including the dazzling double-cutaway body design!

Key features include two Epiphone PRO Mini Humbuckers, the distinctive 'Tremotone' tailpiece, a high-quality Graph Tech NuBone nut and a reduced-sized Kalamazoo headstock with striking "Bikini" badge detail.

Rock-Solid Construction

Boasting an all-Mahogany construction, the Crestwood Custom projects a warm and full-bodied sound that's rich in lows and sizzling with mid-range, while the glued-in neck joint guarantees long, piano-like sustain. The medium "C"-shaped Mahogany neck is comfortable for contemporary and traditional players alike, with a smooth Indian Laurel fingerboard and 22 'Medium Jumbo' frets offering a controllable feel under the fingers.

Epiphone PRO Mini Humbuckers

The Crestwood Custom packs a potent pickup pairing comprising two Epiphone PRO Mini Humbuckers. Delivering punchy, mid-heavy tones that are rich in harmonic content, these versatile hum-cancelling pickups are suitable for a range of musical styles – from soulful blues all the way up to modern punk and indie!

Genuine CTS Pots

Independent volume and tone controls for each pickup make on-the-fly sonic adjustments easy, and allow you to attain a wide range of sounds. The potentiometers are made by industry-leading electronics company CTS to ensure a lifetime of reliable use. They'll never let you down onstage!

Vintage-Style Hardware

Epiphone could have easily fitted its reimagined Crestwood Custom with modern appointments, but they wanted to retain the spirit of the original by installing vintage-style hardware; for that truly nostalgic look. Sporting the iconic Tremotone tailpiece for tasteful vibrato, ivory-button Epiphone Deluxe tuners and a clear butterfly pickguard with white centre stripe and foil "E" logo – this 21st Century Crestwood Custom doesn't forget any of its essential late '50s roots.

The LockTone bridge is perhaps the only contemporary enhancement, featuring high-quality Graph Tech TUSQ saddles. With these high-quality pieces of hardware, you can expect rock-solid tuning stability and fast, stress-free string changes thanks to the bridge's practical locking design.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

The Important stuff

Custom — Custom describes gear that is specially designed, modified, or built to unique specifications rather than standard production. Custom pedals, guitars, and equipment often focus on specific tones, features, or aesthetics, offering a more personalised feel and performance for players who want something distinctive.. White — White describes a clean, classic finish commonly used on guitars, pedals, and amplifiers. It offers a timeless look that can range from bright and modern to aged or vintage-styled, pairing easily with a wide variety of hardware and designs while keeping a simple, uncluttered appearance..
