Key Features

  • 50s Rounded “C” Neck – Retro shape delivers a “time capsule” feel that’ll strongly appeal to traditionalists after a true, old-school Les Paul.
  • Grover Tuners – Grover tuners are highly sought after due to their reputation of tuning stability, keeping the guitar in tune for longer.
  • Mahogany Construction – This timeless Tonewood (used for the body/neck) yields the thick and sustain-rich sound synonymous with Gibson guitars.
  • Epiphone Hardcase – This Les Paul comes with an “Inspired by Gibson” hardcase to protect the Les Paul.
  • Maple Capped Mahogany Body – The solid Mahogany body has a maple cap for a touch of added sonic bite.

With all of the classy “tuxedo” elements that this model is known for, this beautiful guitar has a one-piece Mahogany neck with a 50s Rounded C profile, an Ebony fretboard, and stunning mother-of-pearl block fretboard inlays.

There are also mother-of-pearl split diamond and Epiphone logo headstock inlays on the Gibson-style “openbook” headstock.

Gold hardware, including Grover Rotomatic 18:1 gear ratio tuners, gives it even more visual appeal. The Gibson USA 490R and 498T pickups provide true tonal quality and give that authentic Gibson tone we all know and love.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.
