Noel Gallagher is one of the UK’s most successful songwriters and his work with Oasis in the ’90s defined a generation. With countless number one singles and multi-platinum selling albums under his belt, Noel continues to fill arenas worldwide, nearly thirty years on from the release of Oasis’ landmark debut album “Definitely Maybe”. The Epiphone Noel Gallagher Riviera honours the former Oasis guitarist, paying tribute to his undeniable impact on British music.

Key Features

  • Semi Hollow Construction – Semi hollow guitars produce a warmer, more resonant sound than their solid body counterparts, giving them an almost acoustic-like quality.
  • Epiphone Classic PRO Pickups – These versatile humbuckers produce rich tones with plenty of articulation and dynamics, and clean up nicely with the guitar’s volume controls.
  • SlimTaper C Neck Profile – This popular neck profile offers excellent playability and comfort whether you’re blasting out Wonderwall-esque chords or melodic lead lines!
  • LockTone Tune-o-Matic Bridge & Stop Bar – Provides rock solid tuning stability and intonation whilst maximising the transference of sound energy to the pickups.
  • Epiphone Hardshell Case – This form fitted hard case provides top notch protection when it’s time to hit the road!

Tonewoods & Classic Design

Featuring a semi hollow 5-ply layered Maple body, the Riviera sports a stunning dark wine red finish, closely matched to the original models from the era. A SlimTaper C shape Maple neck includes a period correct volute, designed to improve stability on the neck and headstock. Other historically accurate appointments include “E” logos on the truss rod cover and pickguard and a brown sound hole label, giving the guitar a cool vintage vibe. An Indian Laurel fingerboard offers a smooth playability whilst maintaining a vintage look and is adorned with Pearloid Trapezoid inlays.

Dynamic Hardware

At the heart of the Riviera is a pair of Epiphone Classic PRO pickups, offering up a host of vintage humbucking tones. With two volume and two tone controls, and a 3-way selector switch, there are plenty of tone shaping options on hand. These dynamic pickups pair beautifully with the semi hollow body, producing a resonant tone that responds to your playing style. The Riviera is a must-have for avid fans of Noel Gallagher and Oasis and comes in an Epiphone hardshell case, offering premium protection and convenient storage.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Semi-Hollow Electric Guitars

Semi-hollow electric guitars combine elements of solid and hollow body designs, offering warmth and resonance alongside improved sustain and feedback control. Typically built with a centre block running through the body, they deliver an open, airy character while remaining stable at higher volumes. This balance makes them well suited to a wide range of styles, from jazz and blues to indie, rock, and alternative music. Semi-hollow guitars respond well to dynamics and touch, providing a versatile, expressive option for players who want depth without sacrificing control.

The Important stuff

Semi-Hollow — Semi-hollow guitars blend the warmth and resonance of a hollow body with the feedback control and sustain of a solid body. Featuring a solid centre block running through the body, they deliver rich, open tones with added bite — perfect for blues, jazz, rock, and soul. From smooth cleans to gritty overdrive, semi-hollows like the ES-335 have become timeless favourites for players who want depth, character, and versatility in one beautifully balanced instrument..
