Inspired by the ‘King of the Flat Tops’

Familiar, but with a legendary vibe. The EJ-200SCE electro-acoustic takes inspiration from the iconic J-200 – the ‘king of the Flat Tops’. The J-200 was released in 1937, but since then, it’s taken generations of players by storm. This unique EJ-200SCE LH is a more compact, slimmed-down version. A unique and distinctive mini-jumbo, it plays beautifully, and offers great comfort. This is thanks to its more compact, easy-to-play body.

Stunning Electro-Acoustic Sound

Explore the luscious sound of your solid top, amplified. All courtesy of a Fishman Sonicore pickup that captures all that solid-topped magic, and delivers it with silky-smooth execution. You also have complete control with a Fishman Presys preamp, allowing you to inject your live sound with your own individual flair. It’s time to unleash your musical persona.

Luxury Feel

You know it looks and sounds great. It oozes iconic style and renowned Epiphone quality. And, it has a hard Maple neck with a walnut stringer – classy. But to encourage you to want to play your EJ-200SCE even more, it features a slim neck taper and C-shaped profile. This slim-taper allows you to fly up and down the neck for fast-paced styles while providing a smooth, comfortable feel. And, with its C-shaped profile, your fretting hand will be grateful for the comfort offered. You won’t want to put it down.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.

Left-Handed Guitar

Left-handed guitars are built specifically for left-handed players, with the body shape, controls, and string orientation reversed to provide a natural and comfortable playing experience. Available across electric, acoustic, classical, and bass styles, they offer the same variety of tones, features, and build quality as right-handed models. Using a properly designed left-handed guitar helps with balance, technique, and confidence, allowing players to focus on developing their sound without having to adapt to an instrument that doesn’t suit the way they play.
