Formerly known as the "ESP Standard" series, ESP's E-II instruments are expertly-crafted in Japan. The E-II SN-III HT is a new twist on a traditional design, with a set of components and features that make it a high performance workhorse!

Using a bolt-on construction at a 25.5" scale, this instrument features an Alder body with flamed Maple top in an amazing translucent Tiger Eye Sunburst finish that allows the beauty of the figured wood grain to shine through. Its 3-piece Maple neck has a satin-finished back for extreme speed and fluidity, and you also get a reverse headstock that provides higher tension on the low strings for articulate low notes, lines, and chords. The Ebony fingerboard features offset mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets with scalloping from frets 15-22.

The ESP E-II SN-III HT also offers the killer look of a brushed black pickguard, and natural masked body binding. High-end components on this guitar include a Hipshot hardtail bridge, Gotoh locking tuners, and ESP strap locks. Its versatile tones, which make it great for every music style from progressive metal to jazz fusion, are driven by an H/S/S configuration of a Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker active pickup with black nickel cover in the bridge, and two Fishman Fluence Single Width pickups in the neck and middle positions. A second voicing option is accessed with a push/pull switch on the tone knob. Includes ESP deluxe hardshell case.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
