The Mercury Blue Moon is a truly individual instrument. Finished with a flamed Maple binding, Macassan Ebony fittings, Fishman Electronics and complete in a hard case, your Faith Mercury Blue Moon is sure to intrigue and delight you at every turn.

Key Features

  • Mango Tonewood – Mango gives a distinct, warming tone which gives a lot of clarity in the mid-range.
  • Stunning Finish – The natural grain patterns, with the binding make this guitar a true gem.
  • Fishman Electronics – Connect up the guitar and deliver true tonal harmony with ease.
  • Included Hardcase – Protect the guitar in style with the included hardcase.

The Faith Mercury is a traditional short-scale parlour model. With the neck joining the body at the 12th fret – rather than the 14th – the strings are held at a slightly lower tension than on regular models.

These features result in a guitar that is physically easier to play, sounds much bigger than you would imagine and is also simple to handle and transport.

Tonewoods

Much like Maple guitars, the reduced level of resonant overtones makes the Mango-bodied Blue Moon a perfect stage guitar: Eminently controllable, balanced and resistant to feedback.

Mango trees grow freely right across the Indonesian archipelago, so the timbers used on Blue Moon guitars are sourced close to Faith’s workshops in Java, Indonesia, and as always, from certified timber merchants.

Stuff About Acoustic Guitars

Acoustic guitars produce their sound naturally through the vibration of the strings and body, offering a direct and expressive playing experience. They come in a wide range of styles, including steel string and classical designs, each with its own feel and tonal character. Body shape, wood choice, and construction all influence warmth, projection, and balance, making acoustics suitable for everything from gentle fingerstyle to confident strumming. Whether used for songwriting, practice, or performance, acoustic guitars provide a simple, honest connection between the player and the music.

Stuff About Electro-Acoustic Guitars

Electro-acoustic guitars combine the natural sound and feel of an acoustic guitar with built-in electronics for amplification. Fitted with pickups and preamp controls, they allow you to plug directly into an amp, PA system, or recording setup while retaining an acoustic character. They’re ideal for live performance, rehearsal, and home recording, offering volume control and tonal adjustment without relying solely on microphones. Electro-acoustic guitars suit players who want the warmth and responsiveness of an acoustic instrument with the flexibility to play amplified when needed.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.
