Gallien-Krueger's 4th generation of NEO Series bass cabinets are designed for modern bassists who seek both power and portability — featuring fresh aesthetics, an improved construction, and even more features. In GK's words, these are "the most advanced" cabinets they've ever released! The new form-factor is shared with Gallien-Krueger's Fusion and Legacy combos for a uniform look, making these the ideal extension cabs for not only these combos but also GK's Legacy and Fusion bass heads.

Contemporary Construction

GK's NEO IV cabs boast a lightweight plywood construction, with ample bracing that forms an extremely sturdy enclosure. The cabinet interior is covered with damping material that's designed to absorb high frequencies from the rear of the speaker; preventing them from coming out of the port and interfering with the high frequencies from the front of the speaker. This results in a smooth and pleasing top-end response. A metal grill and ultra-tough cabinet coating, finished with metal corners, ensures a long-lasting cabinet that will withstand heavy use.

Neodymium Speakers

Custom Neodymium woofers designed and manufactured by GK are fitted as standard in NEO IV Series cabs — renowned for their feather-light weight without sacrificing performance or "punchiness". Die-cast frames are used exclusively, delivering greater durability and power handling than the cheaper and more common stamped frame designs. The voice coils also utilise edge-wound aluminium ribbon wire, which compared to the more common round wire, forms a speaker that is far more efficient with greater power handling. NEO IV cabs feature a real crossover and a system to protect the horn from excessive power bursts too!

Stuff About Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

Stuff About Combo Amps

Combo amps combine an amplifier and speaker into a single, self-contained unit, making them a practical and popular choice for many players. They’re easy to transport, simple to set up, and available in a wide range of power ratings, from small practice amps to powerful stage-ready models. Combo amps come in valve, solid-state, hybrid, and digital designs, often with built-in effects and tone controls. Their all-in-one nature makes them ideal for home use, rehearsals, recording, and live performance where convenience and reliable tone matter.
